Wonderful...

You know the feeling.

you go to the movies, you don´t expect much, but when the film is over the feeling is amazing: the movie is brilliant... for a girl. The actors are great, the story is well written and most of all, you are crying all over.

I love films like that.

I love going to the movies (specially alone) with a huge box of popcorn and large Coke, prepared to cry, and know that this is going to be one of those movies that you see a thousand times. One of those movies designed for us, women. What´s wrong with that?

Who didn´t want to be Cameron Diaz kissing Jude Law in the winter, drinking wine, in London...

So, yesterday I went to the movies all by myself to see LETTERS TO JULIET, with Amanda Seyfried, Gael García Bernal, Christopher Egan and Vanessa Redgrave. The movie tells the story of the young writer Sophie who travels to Verona with her fiancée Victor in a previous honey moon. But she finds a letter that was written 50 years ago by a British girl named Claire who was in love with an Italian boy. After answering the letter, she inspires Claire to travel around Italy to find her long-lost love, Lorenzo Bortolini. Claire is now a grandmother of sixty something years old, but still in love with her first love. She travels to Italy with her grandson Charlie, who doesn´t support her craziness, but stays on her side and agrees in taking part on this adventure with her.

The main drama of the movie is to show that once you´ve found love, it will never disappear: it will be there forever. The search of Claire for true love leads to a series of events that Sophie would never have imagined.

If you´re the kind of girl (or boy. or boyfriend) who loves chick flicks, you cannot lose Letters to Juliet. It´s delicious, and you will leave the movies wanting to travel to Italy and meet the love of your life ASAP!!!
